Our Cottages in Glendaruel, Argyll

 

Welcome to Ardachearnbeg Cottages

Nestling in the Glen surrounded by beautiful hills the cottages are the original outbuildings of a traditional 18th century farm, renovated to the highest standard using, where possible, original features and items.

There is plenty to do (see activities) whether you are looking for adventure or to steep yourself in history, to be active or to watch the birds and wildlife, to walk, cycle, sail or horse ride, or simply  to relax, our cottages provide a comfortable and warm starting and finishing point for so doing.   

Swallows, woodpeckers and red squirrels visit the garden while eagles, harriers, buzzards, red deer, otters and seals inhabit the wider area. Gannets and dolphins are increasingly being spotted in the nearby Kyles of Bute.

All in all this is one of the most unspoilt parts of Scotland, yet easily accessible from Glasgow.
